This privacy statement refers to the collection and processing of personal data. This data may be collected when you order our website, when you send an inquiry or make a booking using our website, or when you use other services, such as ordering a voucher or subscribing to our newsletter. In the following, we would like to give you an overview of what kind of data is being collected, how it is used and why. We would like to assure you that protecting your personal data is a priority for us.

How is personal data collected, stored and used?

At the hotel Das Zwölferhaus, we collect personal data in order to provide you with the best possible service and information and to draw up the best service proposal for your requirements. The personal data we ask for helps us draw up a proposal or booking confirmation based on your wishes. To do this, your data is stored in our hotel IT programme. In this, we limit ourselves to data that is necessary for completing your order or pre-contractual proposal. With your data, you are also making it possible for us to keep you up to date on special offers or news about your holiday that might be interesting to you. Of course, you can let us know at any time, free of charge and in a straightforward process, if you no longer wish to receive product offers, news, special offers etc. We will store your personal data for as long as this is required for completing your order and as long as we believe that there may be a justified interest in receiving additional information and as long as you have not informed us that you no longer wish your data to be stored.

What sort of data is being collected?

In order to fulfil your requests, i.e. draw up a proposal, make a booking, purchase a voucher or subscribe to a newsletter, the only data collected is data required for contractual fulfilment of pre-contractual information. This data may include: first name, surname, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address. More data may be requested in order to specify your holiday interests. These are not required for a proposal or a booking and are therefore not mandatory.

What are your rights with regard to your data?

You have the right to have your data corrected: If you notice in communications that you receive from us that your data is faulty and/or incomplete, please notify us of any corrections that should be made. You have the right to information, correction, cancellation, limitation, data portability, cancellation and appeal. Please let us know by e-mail or telephone what rights you would like to exercise and when. Please be advised that a company of a photo ID is required for requests received by telephone or e-mail to make sure that your request is legitimate.

To whom is your data passed on and for what reason?

The hotel Das Zwölferhaus hereby confirms that we do not sell on guest data to third parties for marketing or other diverging purposes. To ensure that you receive our company information, reservations and/or orders, we cooperate with external partners who provide these services on our behalf. These include printing and letter shops, who make sure that your mail reaches you at the right address, as well as newsletter senders, who work exclusively as processors on our behalf and with whom we have concluded a data processing agreement with stringent data protection requirements. Links from the hotel website to other, external websites do not entail the transfer of personal data, but are provided for information purposes only. We are unable to assume any liability for external websites that are not related to our hotel. These may be links to sport partners, leisure facilities in the region, cable car lines, the tourism association etc. Our guests themselves decide whether they would like to follow this link or nor. We are also happy to provide information by telephone or e-mail.
