Information on how to get to Saalbach Hinterglemm

The 4-star Superior hotel Das Zwölferhaus is situated in a top location in Hinterglemm. In winter, it is at the heart of the ski circus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, right next to the slopes and the valley station of the 12er KOGEL gondola lift.
In summer, the mountain bike and hiking destination of Saalbach Hinterglemm also offers a vast range of outdoor activities. Thanks to the 12er KOGEL gondola lift located right outside our front door, you and your hiking backpack will be in the mountains in no time at all.

How to find us in Hinterglemm
Follow the Glemmtaler Landesstraße and drive through the tunnel. Shortly after, you will have to turn left to Zwölferkogelweg. You will see the hotel just a few metres away, right next to the valley station of the 12er-Kogel gondola lift.

Free parking is available at the hotel.
Please note that your car must display a toll road sticker ("Vignette") if driving on Austrian motorways. 

STRESS-FREE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

TRAVELLING BY TRAIN AND BUS

Travelling by train is the ideal way to start your holiday. From the nearby train stations Maishofen-Saalbach or Zell am See you can reach Saalbach Hinterglemm comfortably and environmentally friendly with free public buses. Alternatively, a taxi rank is available at Zell am See railway station.

Thanks to attractive ÖBB fares, you can travel comfortably and cheaply from all over Austria, Bavaria and Switzerland - for example from €24.90 from Vienna, from €17.90 from Munich or from €49.90 from Zurich. For longer journeys, the Nightjets offer a relaxed overnight journey including breakfast.

The direct train connection from Malmö, Høje Taastrup, Odense and Kolding takes you comfortably to Zell am See with Snälltåget. From there, the 680 bus runs every hour to Saalbach Hinterglemm.
