Accessibility statement
We, Zwölferhaus KG, the Martina & Alois Hasenauer family, strive to make our website accessible in accordance with national legislation implementing the European Accessibility Directive (Directive 2019/882).
In doing so, we have complied as far as possible with the Accessibility Act (BaFG) as amended and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2).
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.daszwoelferhaus.at.
Status of compliance with requirements
This website is only partially compliant with Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 due to the following incompatibilities.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
Incompatibility with accessibility regulations
Some images and graphics still have inadequate or missing alternative text. This violates the ‘non-textual content’ success criterion. We are endeavouring to revise appropriate alternative text for new content immediately and for older content on an ongoing basis. The deficiencies in the following success criteria will be remedied by our content team and our technical department in the next development cycles:
- No skip navigation
- Colour contrasts are sometimes not appropriate
Third-party content / external services
The online booking function is provided by an external service provider (HotelNetSolutions GmbH, OnePageBooking). As this content is technically loaded by a third party, we have no direct influence on the accessibility of the source code or on full keyboard operability within the booking process.
Our websites are designed in accordance with current technical capabilities and standards. We have randomly checked the order in which elements are technically displayed in the main content. If you notice any problems with the implementation of individual elements, please send us your suggestions.
Disproportionate burden
Some of our videos do not have audio description. This means that the WCAG success criterion (recorded audio description) is not met. We believe that rectifying this would constitute a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the accessibility regulations. The video on the home page, which plays automatically in the header, does not have audio and therefore does not require audio description.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was created on 12 February 2026. The website's compliance with legal requirements was assessed in the form of a self-test in accordance with WCAG 2.2.
